Experience the inspiring story of CapoeiraDC, from our roots in Africa, Brazil, and Jamaica, to a small group of students in DC seeking to learn this martial art, to a multi-generational community continuing Capoeira's legacy of resistance and freedom fighting.
 
Performed by CapoeiraDC's performance team of kids, teens, and adults, and with special guest performers Silva Dance Company and Mestre Omi, this show will get you on your feet, moving, and inspired.
 
Before, during, and after the show, we will hold a silent auction with art, products, and experiences donated by local artists and small businesses. Following the show, we will hold a lively reception with refreshments and music.
 
All ticket proceeds and funds donated will go to supporting the growth of our youth and adult Capoeira programs, as well as our capital campaign to purchase our own building here in Ward 5 of DC, so that we can be a home for liberating arts and culture for generations to come.

VIP Champions tickets include 2nd and 3rd row seats, your name printed in our program, two drink tickets, pre- and post-show reception with reception VIP section, silent auction, and an Esrela Preta tshirt
Warriors tickets include General Admissions seating, an Estrela Preta tshirt, silent auction, and pre- and post-show reception
Advocates tickets include General Admissions seating, silent auction, and pre- and post-show reception
