Afro-Brazilian Drumming

CapoeiraDC now offers Brazilian percussion classes taught by Roberto Berimbau.

Roberto is an accomplished drummer and bassist who performed with Pei De Boi and other Samba Schools.

Roberto leads students through the various Brazilian percussion instruments such as the Surdo, Caixa, Repiniqui, Tambourin, and Agogo and musical styles including Batucada, Samba Reggae, and Samba de Roda.
