Giving back to CapoeiraDC during the Combined Federal Campaign

November 17, 2011

Every year, employees in the Federal workplace participate in a charitable giving drive called the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

As a registered charity, CapoeiraDC is eligible to receive donations from Federal employees in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

That means that the most successful workplace fundraising model in the world can help fund our capital campaign, pay for youth classes, and keep our studio running.

How You Can Help

If you’re a Federal employee, you can use our CFC number - 92045 - to contribute by cash, check or automatic deduction from your paycheck.

If you're not a Federal employee, you can help out by encouraging your friends and family members who work for the Federal Government to give to CapoeiraDC. The CFC season has already begun, and ends in less than a month - December 15.

This is a tremendous opportunity for our capoeira community, so please spread the word about the great work that we do, and about our eligibility in the campaign.

$67 Million

Last year – through the combined efforts of 150,000 civilian and military Federal employees - the campaign generated more than $67 million for local, national and international charities.
