Capoeira Boot Camp and Summer Specials

Capoeira Foundations

Unlimited beginner classes for your first month

Students will learn the ginga, kicks, escapes, basic acrobatics, and traditional songs and capoeira etiquette.  It is also a great workout!

For your first class, wear a t-shirt and workout pants — no shorts. Footwear is optional, although many people prefer to play capoeira barefoot. Please arrive 15 minutes early to register, pay, and change your clothing.

All classes begin with a brief warm up, stretch and a workout that includes partner work to develop your technique. This class prepares you for more advanced classes at The Capoeira Spot.

Capoeira Foundations
(unlimited classes for your first month):
Monday 6:30-7:45 pm
Wednesday 6:30-8:00 pm
Saturday 12:15-1:30 pm

Capoeira Boot Camp

A high-intensity conditioning class to get you in shape for the summer!  These workouts are a great complement to capoeira training for all fitness levels.

The class will focus on functional movements such as push ups, squats, lunges, burpees, pull ups, running, and jumping, as well as basic capoeira movements.  Many of these workouts will be done outdoors so be sure to bring tennis shoes.
